Peacocks dancing in the rain
kids running down the lane

A farmer toiling in the field
land lord counting upon the yield

While a poor waits for the day's meal
Its the pain which rich can’t feel

A mother finds joy
in her child's first cry

reasons are deliberate
for us to celebrate

Diwali is one such occasion
for prayers & confession

bursting crakers n pouring honey
is nothing but wasting money

Do a noble deed
where to the needy u shall feed

do take a pledge,
to donate the underprivileged

Lost One

Papa where are you?
Y cant I reach you?
That great power which took you away from me
Why does it lack the power to reduce pain in me
the pain of missing you
with every new day I step into
R u several miles away
No..its in my heart is where you stay

My hands are no more delicate..
As they were,at that time
when I was forced to say Goodbye
My hands may be strong enough to write
My mind is sometimes strangled by the agony of ur absence

Strangers in the night

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 31; the thirty-first edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is 'Strangers in the Night

It's that night which was after a beautiful day. It's the night which was lit up by stars. The man walked briskly in the cold night, to rest at his very own home. On opening the gate, he found an animal with no human nature, he instantly kicked it away, being unhuman. He stepped into the house and lit up the fire place. Unfortunately, the fire set ablaze spreading to the roof, the animal started to bark loud enough to alert the neighbors. Neighbors with that strange dog saved this man's life. The man lost his humanity, kicked the dog away thinking why to shelter a stranger, but the non human creature thought of helping that same stranger.
Even a non-human can remind us of our humanity, as it happened in this case with strangers at that night.

I dnt wanna know my birth star,
coz I m born to b a star!

why to be unto anyone
when each individual is unique one

Dnt hunt for you future
it wont convey u,to do so-its no preacher

Wen ur actions make u shine,
there u find your future in line

Smile at your problem,
it doesn't approach you to n fro,its no pendulum

Life's rules r not traffic rules , for letting others to create
n u juz follow n meditate

U create ur rule,Let ppl play their role,
Dnt let it affect ur soul

Around u create a danger zone
not happiness but for worry alone

Dawn of the dusk

Dusk n dawn,both begin with "d"
patiently read d following letters three

Dusk in life makes u drown
Dawn in life gets u crown

wait for fruits
but start with d root

both are result of each other
u 'll understand wen u really bother

worrying makes u go mad
having hope shall make u glad

what u think in mind
is what u r going to find

be wise to choose, letting it loose?
is what u ll lose

wen to something u love,
it speeds towards u n bow

instead of repenting,thinking its fate
act before its late

to acquiring d need,just fight
using all your might

wen u learn a lesson,
follow it,n not pile up into lesson's mansion..

imbibe in u,what u spire to b
soon u will proudly say-"that's me!"
